5th Graders Learn Survival Skills

Mrs. Hruby's adventurous 5th grade students visited the MacKenzie Center in Poynette again this past Tuesday and learned some important outdoor survival skills. They learned how to build a shelter, build a fire, and use a GPS device for emergency survival situations. Just in time for outdoor summer exploring!

5th graders Laura Kruchten, Kayla Ederer and Fatima Gonzales put their fire-building skills to the test.

Connor Kendall and Calvin Breunig admire the shelter they built, while Vos Betley gives it a try.
