Students in grades 3 thru 5 are learning archery in Physical Education class this trimester from parishioner and volunteer, Nick Ringelstetter. While many people may associate archery solely with hunting, this is a time-honored sport with many physical and emotional benefits including improved hand-eye coordination, strength-building, physical endurance, socialization and patience. This program is planned to last 9 weeks and it has already been rewarding to see gradual improvement in our students' archery skills!
