Nature detectives

Our second graders wrapped up their lesson on what makes something living, once-living, or nonliving, and then took the learning outside for a scavenger hunt!

Each student searched for one example of each category to bring back in their bag. Then they gathered together to share their finds and sort them into the right groups. It was so much fun seeing their thinking in action!
